Yasmin Henkesh

Yasmin Henkesh is a world-renowned belly dancer with forty years of performance and teaching experience - from Washington DC and New York, to London, Paris and Cairo. While living in Egypt she obtained a Masters degree in Arabic (AUCairo) and researched Egyptian sacred dance. Through her music label, Sands of Time Music, she has released Zar - Trance Dancing for Women, Volumes 1 - 3, compilations of authentic Egyptian trance music. Her first book, Trance Dancing with the Jinn, was released Dec 2016.
