The Order of the Black Madonna offers a ritual calling upon the Great Dark Mother for aid in stemming the tide of misogyny, institutionalized rape culture, and global use of violence against women as targets and tools of war. In this rite, we will call upon Her to uplift and protect women in police custody, women in prison, women in the military, women in war zones, trans women, and women of color. We petition the Black Madonna in her many forms to bring mercy to the suffering, justice to the oppressor, and and positive change and healing for all women. All are welcome at this rite.
