Sock Puppet Scapegoat Ritual

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A lighthearted ritual of letting go. The scapegoat is a tradition in ancient Judaism in which a goat was assigned the sins of a community and then set free. In this all-ages modern version of the tradition, participants will craft sock puppets (which may or may not resemble goats), ascribe them with unwanted traits, and then set the sock puppets free. (Socks will be provided, and leftover socks will be donated to those in need.) And then everything good will happen!

Ted Prodromou

Ted Prodromou hopes to learn more and find answers. He had a happy Episcopalian upbringing, is now perpetually unsure, likes Pagans very much, and is fairly tall.
