A discussion of the intersection of sovereignty, horse symbolism, and the Goddess Macha in Irish paganism. All of Macha various appearances in Irish mythology will be covered as well as the way that each relates to sovereignty. Her connection to horses, and the importance of horses as symbols of fertility, kingship, and warriors will also be discussed.
